Custom Urdu lettering and Design of a limited edition Eid card for Diaspora Co.

While thinking about Eid celebrations at home during my childhood, I was reminded of how the house would be fragrant with all the dry fruits and sev roasting. My mother would be standing on her little stool constantly stirring the seviyan. And I would just stand near the kitchen with my favourite bowl, waiting for my mom to pour some for me.

This illustration is reminiscent of the exact moment when the bowl would be full of seviyan and she'd sprinkle some extra dry fruits for me.

This card has been created using multiple printmaking methods - One colour Screen print +  Gold foil + Indigo (thermal transfer) print on Natural Evolution paper. Produced by Pritam Arts. Closed Size - 3.5 x 3.5 inch.
